Great workout, thanks! I was hurting during the warmup (jumping jacks) :-). I made it as far as half of the 1...2...hops, plan to keep working at it until I make it all the way through.

[...] Wednesday Again! That means it’s time for another workout. Today I’m introducing a variable workout — something you can do in a single 9 minutes or to use as a circuit and do as many as you’d like. I did two this morning, the first in 8:45 and the second in 8:30. It’s fun and challenging, and I think you’re going to feel pretty accomplished after completion. Like always, don’t feel bad if these moves feel new to you; they aren’t intended to be easy. Keep in mind to only do what you can do and nothing more. Example: You don’t have to do low squats. You don’t have to kick your feet to your hands; you can simply pick up a knee because that’s the same exercise but at a lower intensity. The yoga moves at the end are balance and strength poses. I regularly fall when doing them, but I keep going anyway. Have fun and tell me how you did! [...]

Awesome Tammy! So glad you liked it :-) It's hard for me to tell how long these things should take because I've done them so many times that I don't think about it much anymore. 30 Minutes sounds about right I suppose. Let me know how you like the arms on too... Thanks for giving it a try. Maybe other people will too :-)

finally tried this one! just finished.. still breathing hard. some of these moves (side lung raises, water wheels, one leg squats, and 1,2 hops) i'd never done before. like them quite a lot.. i like that this routine was different and that it took balance and strength to complete most moves. I like to have to concentrate.. keeps it interesting when I get to use my brain! the 1, 2 hops were a LOT harder than I thought they would be.. likewise the waterwheels... GREAT! I will definietly do this one again! I think I'll try your arms routine soon!... maybe tomorrow if Zoey can get over the teething and sleep tonight! :) it took me about 30 minutes to do this one and that was after I watched the video and it includes the time to thoroughly read each section before starting each move. :)

Thanks, Beth! I have done the one leg squats the way you mention, and they're a good exercise too, but I've found they don't work quite the same muscles. But, you're right in that it's pretty close to the same thing. If people have a hard time with their knees then that's a good alternative. I have terrible balance so it makes doing them a little hard for me. Nevertheless I continue because I figure eventually my balance will improve.
