I got this for my wife for Christmas. It was number 1 on her list. Now I have a post written about all the new cuss words I’ve learned since she’s been playing it.

You are hysterical. But totally and completely right about the good ol’ classics. I bought Super Mario Bros. for Christmas under the guise of giving it to our seven year old (who tries to correct me every time I say “Super Mario Brothers” as he calls it “Bros”). Needless to say I’ve been vegging out after the kids go to bed for about thirty minutes with my good friend Mario.

Video Games are good for all in moderation, I should think. Hell, I played Super Mario and Legend of Zelda while drinking from a KEG of Kool-aid when I was a kid and I’m gonna go out on a limb and say I turned out okay.

Stephanie, you have a point about being outside. It’s always nice to get some fresh air. Although, video games have been proven to increase spacial awareness and sharpen our other visual senses. They definitely have a place along with books for our brains.

Yes, Tammy, You guys need skills! You’ve got two boys. At some point they’re going to get into it (or at least probably). We’ve got so many video games in this house it sad. Some of them have been duds, but some others have made up for it. I’d be happy to direct you to the good ones.
