I had the same experience with the Road. Beginning to end in one sitting. Put it down at 2:45 AM. Never happens. Maybe something about being a dad and reading about that dad. Wow.

The non review huh? Well, your non review still counts in my book. I did plan on adding some explosions in here and there – can’t tell you the number of times I wanted to pull something out of my closet of toys and go all Ranger Ron on a few people, buuuut my editor cut it out. Or that’s my excuse anyway.

Still, I’m glad you mentioned the honesty – that was the hardest and most essential part of the book. It’s something we as men need more of today in my opinion.

If I ever get to Cormac McCarthy’s level of writing then pinch me – the guy’s pretty durn good. Coincidently, the movie version of the book was filmed in my hometown.

I may have to steel those photos/videos of the Kindle (with your permission of course).

PS. Bigger than you? Pffft are you kidding. I’m not even close. =-)

Now, That's a book review. I'm the same, it takes quite the adventure to keep me turning pages one after the other- although I do enoy reading other books.
