Creative Costumes
By: Keith
I decided to put together a list of Funny, Offensive, Cute, and Creative Costumes. I’ve been in a Halloween mood recently and I figure I might as well just continue on with that while I’ve got inspiration. I started off looking for funny baby costumes, but then I got all wrapped up in google image search that I couldn’t stop collecting. Here are some of the more, um, unique costumes that I ran across.
bahhh, Bahhh, BAHHHHH!

Not sure if he’s going for scary Bert or Bert would really look like this in real life.
Ok, so it’s a store bought costume. It’s still funny to dress like Christmas on Halloween.
Nom Nom Nom Nom
Whoever put this costume together really REALLY loves Halloween
At first I thought, “Wow, a kid who’s into Greek Mythology” (Cerberus). But no, it’s just Fluffy. Still, creative.
I could not think of a more inappropriate thing for parents to do to a kid. Should I laugh or be outraged?

Indiana Jones just wouldn’t be the same without the giant boulder.
Look closely. Yup, that’s it!
Way too much time on his hands.
This is way worse than the Hitler costume. Not only is it racist, they also decided to make a social commentary. OUCH!

Now that’s creative teamwork there.
Yes, it’s probably cosplay. But I still think it’s awesome. No, they don’t want to be Qui Gon and Darth Maul; they want to be LEGO Qui Gon and Darth Maul.
Roar!
Wonder if he got any takers.
There are so many good Cosplay costumes out there. This is just one that I really like since I’m a big Zelda fan.
PBJ.

The is the biggest WTF I’ve seen today. “What do you want to be for Halloween, Neil?” “Oh, I don’t know, maybe a Pepsi warrior.” Huh?
I’m assuming there is a girl under that costume.
Inappropriate costume number 3
NOT A COSTUME!
It’s not a horse costume, it’s an AT-AT costume!

There are a million varieties of this costume out there. This is just one example. There is also a nut and bolt and a key and lock. Still pretty funny though.
“Yap yap yap” I mean, oh, wait, spiders don’t make noises. Stop yapping then!
He didn’t even bother to color the beer can engines.

Would you carry your kid around in a pot for comic effect? maybe.

Some of these people are big on guts and short on brains but overall creative. Three images didn’t show up for me. Thanks for the compilation. What are Neil and Alan going to be?
Hmm, don’t know why they aren’t showing up. That’s a mystery. I think some of these people must be high to wear those costumes. The guy with the sheep has got to be one of the more, um, brave costumes I’ve seen
Those are some really unique and creative costumes, even if some are a little on the strange side. Hubby and I love to check out the costumes at Comic-Con every year…there’s some great stuff there.
Thanks, Marissa. Some of them are indeed a little, um, strange
So glad I found another comic-con fan! I love the creative things people do there too.
Funny stuff!!!!
Maddy had a carnival Friday and the kids who won was about 5 or 6 and dressed as Gene Simmons. It was AWESOME. His mom and aunt were dressed up too.
Ahhh….I love Halloween.
Neat customes!! Love them all although some of them are little too much. I don’t think people are high. I think they are just like me, fearless for being the center of the attention and not being ashamed to make a fool of themselves on Halloween. Is on Halloween when you are allowed to let your inner child come out and have fun in the playground. Love all the characters and Thank you for taking the time to collect such neat images!!
Peace & Love.
Pilutico, I must admit that I am not fearless. Some of these costumes take an amount of boldness that I just do not have
Angie, Gene Simmons + 5 year old = win!
The photos are very funny. I can recall the characters and the great customes. Thank you for the nice post.
Muy buenos los difraces, me pareció muy gracioso el primero el de la oveja. “bee, bee”.
Muy creativo el del perro con el cocodrilo, y también muy bueno, el del perro disfrazado de león.
Que creatividad, saludos.
I am amazed how these people were able to come up with such ideas. It’s creative and fun. I will always remember our childhood days during Halloween. We used to wear white blankets to cover ourselves like white ghosts. During that time the Halloween costumes are not usually available on stores so we always improvise. Together with our friends, we visit our neighbors for trick or treats. It was full of fun and very memorable. Now that we have grown up, things have changed. We moved separate ways and have settled down. Nonetheless, we still manage to see each other and spend little time every year during Halloween. A once a year event where we can be whatever we want to be and we always have fun…Just like the people in the pictures above, I am sure they had fun.
