The Alpahbet by Celebrities | Songs that start with the letter A

When I sing the alphabet to the kids it never comes out sounding right. Oh, sure I can sing it and it doesn’t sound terrible. It just doesn’t compare to some of these performances. James Earl Jones doesn’t even sing it and he sounds awesome. Most of these videos are from Sesame Street which makes a lot of sense. However, there are several that are little hidden gems that I didn’t expect. The Three Stooges one is particularly entertaining. I wanted to do an article with celebrity guest songs on Sesame Street, but there were too many to choose from so I narrowed the scope to just the Alphabet song. These are all G rated (The Daily Show one might be PG). You’d be surprised (or maybe not) how many dirty versions there are in cyberspace.

The Three Stooges: Is this even the Alphabet? Sorta sounds like it.

The Daily Show: Patience, it’s there – different, but there.

  1. Very nice, seems like more work than writing. Are you going to have a Friday story? Seeing Alan read was worth the loss though. :-)

  2. You know, I completely forgot about the story last week :-) I don’t know what I was thinking. I totally intend to write a story. So sorry I missed it! Yes, finding videos takes a ton of time. But they’re fun!
