Wow that is a very comprehensive list of dads’ resources! Impressive.
And thanks for listing our blog in your list too. ^^
Wow– 115 dad blogs– this has got to be the best daddy blog collection.
Guilty as charged. Thank you for the great list and for listing my site despite it’s neglected state. In midst of $ crisis is all and focused on solving that. Once resolved I’ll resume my “hobby”. Perhaps someday I’ll figure out how to turn hobby into livelihood… thx again.
Thanks for mentioning the Dad Jam! This is a great list and I am proud and honoured to be a part of it, in such great company. Keep up the great work on this site.
.-= Vincent @ The Dad Jam´s last blog ..How to get your kids to do something – you do it too! =-.
Wow! thanks for mention, Keith; I’m flattered. The is the best and most up to date list I have seen in a while. I’m going to be coming back to this post quite a bit for info. You did a massive amount of work to track these all down. Thanks.
.-= CK_Lunchbox´s last blog ..Touché =-.
Thanks, Ron! I need to do a bit more updating with it. Some of the blogs in the teens down through the 30′s need to be promoted up the list and some of the top ones have stopped producing or have been misplaced. I tried to be as accurate as possible, but I admit that it could be better. Thanks for the visit!
Wow! Not sue how i missed this post, but thank you for linking to DadThing.com! Very impressive list!
You are very welcome, Jared. You have a quality blog. keep it up!
WOW thanks for the mention! That is a ton of work compiling all that. A job well done!
.-= Keith Rispin´s last blog ..Just Say No (Part 4) =-.
You’re welcome, Keith!
Hey Keith – this has only just turned up in our Google alerts … damn Google got slow
What a fantastic list and huge effort (good on ya!). Thank you so much for including DIYFather.
-Stef
You’re welcome Stefan
Well deserved.
Thank you very much for the honor of being on your list.
I’m also interested in learning more about how this all works, so I’ll be reviewing the link you provided.
Hope you have a happy, stress free holiday.
Peace,
babbo
.-= babbo´s last blog ..Loss and the Erosion of a Human Being =-.
Great list. I had a couple hundred dad blogs listed once, but now that list is down to about 100 that (I think) are still active. Feel free to check it out and take whatever links you like
Some of them (like me) are probably not posting very often anymore now that our kids are older. I haven’t even checked blog stats lately, but I’m sure my numbers have plummeted from what they once were.
Thanks for compiling such a comprehensive list. I am impressed that there are so many active and involved fathers who are also adding resources for the dad world. Thanks again for the shoutout from NYC Dads Group!
NYC Dads Group, So glad you like it! I was impressed as well with the quantity and quality of dadblogs out there. We might not be as big as the mom blogging community, but we’re definitely making some great progress. We’ll catch them some day!
I’m honored. Confused, but honored. Kinda par for the course, really.
Let it be known to everyone reading this that I have accidentally neglected Dad Gone Mad. Not my intention and I will fix ASAP as he is a top 20 for sure.
GladDads got 125 ????
I got the biggest number. I win!!! In your face people who doubted me!
.-= Danny Grubb´s last blog ..Prepared Dads: A Basic Emergency Kit Is Not Enough =-.
Danny
You still beat out all the people who didn’t make the list at all! A few more tweaks and you’ll move on up!
Keith
Dude, I am honestly honored.
I’m impressed.
Thanks so much!
Eric
I’m glad, Eric. I had no idea there were so many good dad blogs out there before I started this.
Holy crap, I made a list. Considering I don’t know a thing about SEO or any kind of rankings, I’m flattered and amazed I made this (or any) list. Thanks for doing all this leg work, I can only imagine how time-consuming it was. Not to mention this gives me plenty of other dad blogs to check out too.
Great job.
.-= Daddy Files´s last blog ..The Trojan Christmas =-.
How many dad blogs are there?
.-= Jack´s last blog ..Songs That You Have To Sing Along With =-.
Jack, it’s hard to say how many there are because Dad blogs don’t have the same community that mom blogs have, and that makes them harder to find. This list represents two months of searching and compiling. I had over 200 that I cut down from for this list. In addition to the ones that didn’t rank, there were some too new to rank and others that had been around a while and hadn’t gained any traction to rank. Needless to say, it was a lot of work. There are many hundreds of other inactive blogs which, even though they have PR, I couldn’t rank because they seem to have stopped posting. Everybody on this list has had activity within the past month.
That’s one complicated looking calculation!
Thanks, I’d never in a hundred years have guessed I’d come in so high.
.-= Martin´s last blog ..Antsy =-.
Thanks for including me. That’s one complicated calculation. Actual traffic is a good measurement also – Quantcast would give you that. Thanks for digging up dirt on so many dad bloggers!
.-= dadshouse´s last blog ..Holiday Stress Relief, Single Parent Style =-.
David, Stay tuned. This list gets another update in 6 months. I’ll research the quantcast data, see how many of us are actualized. That’s a good idea, to include that for next time. Thanks for all the technical tips, David!
Keith, thank you for including my blog in your list. I’m honored to be mentioned so many fabulous bloggers. Thank you for introducing me to so many new blogs including yours.
Take care.
Wow. Fantastic list. Thanks for including DL. We’re off to read and bookmark these guys. Much appreciated hard work that will really help the dad community. Bravo.
DadLabs just posted this on Facebook, just found out about your list and your site, so nice to “meet” you, Keith. I’m the cofounder and coordinator of Rice Daddies, so it’s really a nice surprise to see it on the list at all, let alone so high up. Thanks for this!
.-= daddy in a strange land´s last blog ..humbug =-.
Wow! This is a great list. It’s great to see so many fathers on the web blogging, connecting and ultimately promoting fatherhood. When you get a chance, please check out my blog Keith. I’m a relative newcomer, but we’re up to some cool things in 2010 beginning with coverage of CES in January.
Tshaka, I’m going to check you out right now! Thanks for giving me the heads up on your blog!
Thanks Keith. What a difficult thing to calculate. I’m really honored to be included on the list. Starting my blog a couple of years ago, I would have never dreamed I would be included in such lofty company.
Dad Blogger can save the world.
Seattledad, I’m glad to have found you as well! I have to say that I’ve found so many awesome blogs in my several month search for the best!
LIAYF, Love the your URL. It’s totally confusing until you know what it means, then you never forget! The list was such a huge pain in the butt to compile, but I’m so happy that it’s getting a good reception. makes it all worth while
Keith,
For the past two years I’ve been looking for a list like this to connect and read up on what other dads are blogging about. Congrats for creating the most comprehensive collection of sites I’ve found yet!
Oh, and even at No. 107 I’m pretty psyched to be on it too!
Best,
Dave @dadtherapy
.-= Dave T. ´s last blog ..Dad Therapy Ranked 107th Top Dad Blog! =-.
Decent list, but you forgot one.
Sorry, Father Muskrat. I’ll add you in right away. Would adding you to the list make the list great? Or would it remain simply decent
How can I nominate my blog for next year at Virtual Daddy Talk
Kenneth, Thanks for letting me know about your blog! I’ll run your numbers today, and we’ll see where you fit.
It’s definitely surprising and humbling to find out how high I rank, especially since house-buying has left me pretty scarce around blogland the past few months. I’m glad to see some blogs I read getting well-deserved placement, and I look forward to reading some of which I haven’t heard once life lets me get back into blog-reading.
Thanks for this insane amount of pro-bono work, Keith!
And by the way, yes, adding Father Muskrat would make the list even greater– I think he just forgot the wink with which he usually speaks!
.-= LiteralDan´s last blog ..Amusing searches, Vol. 5 =-.
You’re welcome, LiteralDan
I figured the work needed to be done since I couldn’t find another comprehensive list out there. At least not one that is objective. I’m glad we got Father Muskrat. I’ve actually been thinking of closing down the submissions and saving the rest for 6 months from now when I check stats again. This list is reasonably accurate, but I’m sure I must have missed some worthy candidates. I also feel bad about dropping anybody from the list this time around, but I still want to keep it at 125.
I would be an awful person not to take a minute to say thank you for putting all of this info together. Great resource for sure and thanks so much for including me.
Happy New Year
.-= Ryan´s last blog ..The Children (on Christmas) and updates from blogcation =-.
Ryan, you are very welcome. I’m glad I can be a resource for fellow bloggers
Sending this as a thank you for such a comprehensive list! Hopefully I’ll make it one day…
D
.-= Darryl´s last blog ..The Steering Wheel as Metaphor… =-.
Darryl, Thanks for your URL. I’ll Run your numbers for next time
Holy cow, man! Impressive.
I’d love to be considered for this the next time you get a wild hair. (I recently re-named my blog and changed the url—suicide in the blog world, I know.) Formerly: Zoe’s Dad at url: zoesdad.com. It’s now: Little m Long a at url: edlamaze.com I feel certain that I would come in somewhere in the #126-150 range.
(I’m still Zoe’s dad, I just changed the name.)
Ed, thanks for the update. I’ll plug it into the formula next time around in about 5 or 6 months
Very nice indeed. Thanks for including us and my apologies for now acknowledging it sooner. Happy New Year!
.-= Chuck´s last blog ..Between the lines =-.
You’re welcome, Chuck. happy New year to you, too
Good list, I look forward to checking them out. Hopefully there should be a good few tips for would be dad such as myself!
Hope I can make it on to the list myself next year!
Hi Keith,
My name is Bruce and I’m a writer and a stay-at-home dad. I just discovered your blog. I look forward to reading it. I just started my blog. It’s called: http://www.dontdropthebabyonherhead.com – the dirty diaper diary of a stay-at-home dad.
Check it out.
Best,
Bruce
.-= Bruce Goldstein´s last blog ..Breast Milk: Does a Stay-At-Home Dad good. =-.
Thanks Bruce! And welcome to the daddy blogger community!
A lot of great dads on here, a bunch I have not heard of but adding to my RSS reader, thanks for all the hard work, can’t wait for the update.
.-= Buck Daddy Rogers´s last blog ..Testing out MyLikes.com =-.
Wow, that’s a boatload of dad sites! Thanks for including us!
Paul
Don’t forget the Army Dad!!! ; )
Wow– 70 comments on this post! Make mine #71.
Nice to see AB? on the list. It’s evolved more along the lines of a photo blog since I started posing a new photo each day, but much of it revolves around my kids so I guess I am still in the dad blog universe in some fashion.
Cheers,
-pat
.-= PG´s last blog ..Smokey Remembered (7/365 year 3) =-.
Just spent the afternoon going through the list, following peeps on twitter and subscribing to RSS feeds.
Great list – hope I can be on it next year
I’m late to the show but just wanted to say, amazing job Keith and thanks for the include. I can’t even imagine tackling Mom Blogs.
Don: Thanks! I’m actually getting ready to start working on the next installment soon. Maybe you’ll move up
Hopefully I’ll be listed in the 2010-2011 edition
.-= DaDa Rocks!´s last blog ..First time to an arena sporting event: MSG New York Rangers =-.
DaDa: I’ve got your url now! Thanks
This is great. Thanks for putting together. Especially appreciate your discussion of ranking approach and link to http://www.almightydad.com/seo-sem/blogging-is-easy-peasy for ideas to optimize what we’re doing. Would love to include http://www.dadtoday.com in the running next year. cheers
Stefan: Thank you for your link. I’m adding it to my ever-growing list now!
Thanks, Keith. Added almighty dad to the dadtoday blog roll too. Best
Wow. What a great list.
I did check to see if somehow I was on this list, maybe hiding out at 126. LOL.
I’ll have to use this list to catch up on some reading.
Thanks!
UrbanDad: I’ve got you’re url now and I’ll put it in the calculations for next time!
I’m sure I’m not ranked anywhere in there as I just started my blog, but feel free to add me to the list, even in the bottom 10%! And thanks for the work.
Q: Do you have an idea of how many daddy bloggers there are? What was your total sample number?
.-= Adam G´s last blog ..Michael Chabon =-.
Adam: Since this list, I have collected another 100 or so new additions and am fitting them into my formula for next year. I can’t really remember what the total sample was, but I want to say this represents about half. As you can imagine there are a lot of these blogs that are no longer being tended, and they will be removed next year. But, as long as there is some monthly activity I will continue to run the numbers
Wow that is quite a list. Very comprehensive. Please consider Daddy Dazed for this years list.
.-= Daddy Dazed´s last blog ..Trip to the Cinema =-.
This is a great list of Dad blogs, thanks!
If you have a minute, I just started mine. The cynical and often sarcastic confessions of an unemployed, first-time stay-at-home Dad.

Thanks Keith!
.-= Adrian Kulp´s last blog ..Santa’s pink pig =-.
Alright man… I’m waiting on my nomination. it’s been a year… who’s gonna make it! We’re all waiting on bated breath!
.-= Papa K´s last blog ..Papa K’s Top Five Chick Flicks That Won’t Result In Having To Remove Your Balls If You Watch Them =-.
PapaK: I’m doing it. I swear!
I’m going to put out the word shortly so I can start organizing for 2011.
Im a stay at home dad in Moscow Russia how can I submitg my blog?
.-= englishmaninmoscow´s last blog ..Review of Suzdal and hotel Sloboda =-.
ManinMoscow: I will add your blog and calculate it in the next installment. Thanks for letting me know about you!
Hi there. Add me to the list of the ever increasing number of daddy bloggers. I’ll be a new first time dad in two weeks. Hope to make the top 100 next year.
Keep up the great work.
Peter
http://www.firsttimefather.net.
This will be comment #99– so whoever is next is comment #100. And this post ranks #3 for “dad blogs” in Google, which is way cool!
I’d like to thank you for this list. It’s amazing to see such an extensive list of daddy blogs and more importantly dads taking an active role in parenting. This more than makes up for the narrow scope of parenting magazines out there. I’d like to give a shout out for two other blogs:
http://www.pacingthepanicroom.blogspot.com
and, of course, my own
Parenting From the Up Side Down at
http://www.amaribfishman.blogspot.com
Thank you for including Daddy Brain in your Top Dad Blogs. It is an honor to be included.
Hope all is well!
Peace,
babbo
I have recent;y found a blog from a quite eclectic dad. He loves technology, Motor Bikes, but most importantly the 6 children who he AP’s and shares with a wife he clearly adores.
http://whydontyouwatchwhereimgoing.blogspot.com/
Great list. Thanks for putting it together.
Hopefully I can make it on the list!
http://www.DudeKnowsBest.com
Peace,
Dude
Thanks again for including HighTechDad.com as one of the top 25! It is a great honor. I’m looking forward to seeing this years’ results. Any idea when that will be coming out? You probably saw that we both made the short list on Cision’s Top 10 Fatherhood blogs back in September 2010 (http://navigator.cision.com/Top-10-Fatherhood-Blogs.aspx). Very nice to be in your company!
-HTD
Wow, michael. I didn’t know about that list. It is, indeed nice to be included. Glad we’re both there!
Kieth, not sure how well I’ll do, but if you already haven’t done this completed this year’s, can you include mine?
Hi! I thought some of you might be interested in http://www.daddymodern.com
This blog has has posts on everything from baby gear and weird technology to DIY projects and baby music picks. I started it only a month ago and have already had posts featured on hipster sites such as boingboing.
What you have here is a great resource which dads can find interesting. Love this!
Wow, I didn’t know about all these dad blogs. It’s nice to see we are represented. There is so much out there for moms, but nothing for dad.
